Our origin story
It’s thought-provoking that our setbacks, shortcomings and everything we’ve been conditioned to be ashamed of are the very circumstances that will guide us toward purpose. Untrammeled started as a personal quest. I moved to Canada from Haiti in 2015 to pursue my post-secondary studies and graduated 5 years later with a bachelor in Finance. I initially enrolled in political science and economics with the intention to go to law school afterwards. My long-term plan was to return to Haiti to pursue a career in politics. My professional aspirations, however, crumbled shortly after I started University. During a lecture, we watched a documentary on the 1994 Rwandan genocide that opened my eyes to the concept of tribalism, the foundation of society. As an outsider, I struggle to relate to my family members, let alone identify with race or nationality so everything about the genocide disturbed me. All humans have so much in common but are at the same time so different from each other that the massacre of people based on their physical characteristics seemed unjust to me. If you’re not familiar with the Rwandan genocide, about 800,000 Tutsis were killed in 1994 by a rival ethnic group_the Hutu. During the 100 day massacre, major UN powers decided not to intervene and UNAMIR withdrew 89% of its troops from Rwanda, leaving the Tutsis alone in their suffering. You can read more about it here. Politically speaking, their decision not to intervene makes sense. 18 American soldiers had previously been killed in a Somalian intervention a few months prior so it does make sense that the US and other great powers would not want to put their people’s lives at risk for another foreign nation. However, it seemed unjust to me that nations have to be unsympathetic sometimes to serve their interest. That day, I came to the realization that worldly politics does not align with my values.
While my professional aspirations were crumbling, my personal life was in shambles. At that point, I had been struggling with mental and other personal issues for 14 years. I was on a self-improvement journey but nothing was working out. Since I was being defeated in all areas of my life, I began to question my ability to make a social impact so my goals shifted to selfish ambitions_get rich, buy a farm and disappear from society. My career choice was commodity trading because I would not have to interact with people. That plan also failed but it led me to something I did not even know I was looking for.
While I got exceptional at technical analysis, I discovered that I needed to fast or consume alcohol to implement my analysis properly. Otherwise, I would self-sabotage. One of my strengths is that I’m very good at seeing patterns, sometimes even before they emerge. After a while, it became evident to me that there is a limit on each human being and an unseen “force” working against us to keep us in check whenever we try to breach it. If you’ve tried to get rid of a vice, create something new or do something outside of the norm, you know what I am talking about. You reach a point where you realize that you need help from something outside of yourself if you are going to breach your personal limit. I believe this is the reason drug use is so prevalent on Wall Street and in creative fields.
I eventually became sick so I had to stop drinking. As fasting was unsustainable long-term, I decided to look for other options to get the power I was getting from alcohol. All research led to the spiritual realm. Immediately, my focus shifted from wanting to be rich to wanting to discover more about the spiritual realm because I figured that everything else would fall into place once I got that part under control. That journey led me on a path I’m very fortunate to have recovered from. In the end, I had to stop trading altogether but everything worked out because I found the highest power, that which every human being needs to self-actualize. A year and a half later, I’m sent on a mission to share it with the world.
A paradigm shift
While I was fighting to gain control over my life, something else was also happening. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, people all over the world started to open up about their struggles, insecurities and anxieties, especially young millennials and Gen Z. This was uncommon. Unlike our generation, older people excelled at putting on a mask and performing the way that was expected of them by society. For the first time in my life, I felt less lonely because I’m an open book and authenticity is frowned upon in black families. In most black communities, people are expected to be strong. In this context, strength means resignation_accepting reality without complaint. But I had no desire to be “strong”. I wanted to have power over life’s circumstances so more often than not, I was putting myself in situations that left me defeated. While it felt like most of us were brought to our knees, I found joy consuming other people’s journey during that time. I liked the fact that most people wanted to escape their cage rather than accept reality. Some were seeking change through therapy, religion or spirituality. Others turned to unhealthy coping mechanisms such as sex, drugs and alcohol. The most important thing is that most people were experiencing the same thing_a dissatisfaction with life.
Despite our dissatisfaction with life, it can be argued that our generation has a relatively easy life compared to older generations. My ancestors were “purchased” in Africa during the transatlantic slave trade, shipped to a Caribbean island with strangers they did not speak the same language as and subjected to forced labour while being physically and mentally abused. They were private properties. If you research, you will probably discover that your ancestors had to go through injustices as well. Regarding the political climate, national and international conflicts have been happening since the dawn of history. If we’re being objective, we have to admit that older generations had it way harder. The only difference is that they accepted hopelessness as a way of life. That being said, the standard is not to have it better than other generations. The standard is to self-actualize so it’s completely normal to want more out of life. Humans were designed for greatness. Therefore, no one should have to resign themselves to a mediocre life if they are willing to pay the price of greatness.
The standard is not to have it better than other generations. The standard is to self-actualize so it’s completely normal to want more out of life.
Another thing that started to happen during the pandemic is the unification of the human race. Up to that point, we were pitted against each other so we could be ruled over. Divide and conquer is a strategy that has been used since the dawn of history due to its effectiveness. However, it’s starting to lose its power over mankind. Because of social media, all races, ethnicities and nationalities are becoming more familiar with each other and realizing that we have a lot more in common than we were led to believe. Social media is also allowing us to witness what is happening everywhere in the world in real time. As a result, it’s becoming more difficult for major events to be manipulated to push certain narratives. We still have a long way to go but this is a step toward progress.
Divide and conquer, a societal cancer
Divide and conquer is one of the most effective manipulation tactics in human history. It involves causing division among parties to foster rivalry while the perpetrators get their desired outcomes, usually power and control. Since most things in nature are composed of parts, this manipulation technique is found in all areas of life_politics, religion, organizations, intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships. Common societal issues such as internal conflict, ethnic and racial war, gender war and ideological war are the result of this tactic. When you look at things objectively, these conflicts are not real. By not real, I don’t mean they are not actually happening or causing chaos in the world. What I mean is that if you remove the schemes of the perpetrators from the equation, those so-called societal issues would disappear. Above gender, race, ethnicity, nationality and personal beliefs, we are one human family. And even though they have succeeded at dividing us, the real fight is not truly between mankind. The real fight is between mankind and unseen entities whose purpose is to prevent us from achieving greatness. In fact, there is only one entity that benefits from the constant chaos and instability in the world. Everyone else is a pawn in a game that most of them did not even sign up for. If you can physically see a person, you can be certain they are not the source of any issue we are dealing with on earth. They may be conduits. However, it is important to know that conduits of destruction are also victims. This doesn’t mean that people should not be held accountable. Actions have consequences but taking this into account will help you be more compassionate toward others. It will also protect you from inflammatory content that are designed to create more division.
Even though they have succeeded at dividing us, the real fight is not truly between mankind. The real fight is between mankind and unseen entities whose purpose is to prevent us from achieving greatness.
The strength of most divide and conquer tactics is its exploitation of tribalism. Rooted in humans’ evolutionary need for safety and belonging, tribalism overpower reason and objectivity. People are wired to seek safety so when they feel like their safety is threatened, they will act irrationally. Even an insult toward their tribe can sometimes feel like a threat. Hence so many boxes in society today. The more boxes they can put people in, the more tribes they can create. The more tribes they can create, the more they can pit people against each other. And if they can convince a tribe that they are being exploited by another, then it is easy to get them on the extremist side. love is the best way to combat divide and conquer. When we start seeing each other as humans above race, ethnicity, nationality, personal beliefs and ideologies, we will have a chance at winning. Another way to combat it is to personally choose not to engage in any conflict. This is the most viable option because it shifts the focus on each individual. The goal is to free yourself from the emotional toil they take on you and save your energy for things that truly matter_becoming and building. Ultimately, freedom from distractions is the only way to withstand other societal threats because divide and conquer is only one of many.
Is AI a real threat?
Up until this point, I didn’t mention AI because it’s not really a threat to anyone’s destiny. AI cannot compete with any human who knows who he is. Every human being is an answer to a meaningful problem in society. Therefore, nothing can replace a person who knows the reason for their existence. As alarming as it is, AI is here to help us escape the cage. humankind has been comfortable with mediocrity for so long that disruption is needed to help us come back to our senses. The fact that they manage to get people to perceive AI as competitors is what should be concerning. This shows how low we have fallen as a species. Ultimately, the people that are threatened by AI are the same people that can be conquered in other areas of life because the cause is the same_a low self-concept. If it’s not AI, it will be something else. And there will be something else. The world is predatory by nature. They are sharks in the sea, lions in the savannah and eagles rooming in the sky looking for prey. Even sheep, one of the most gentle animals in the world, will become dangerous when their needs are not met. This is just the reality of life. You either accept it or you pay the consequences of rejecting it. The government, parents and whoever has authority over a person can only protect them to a certain extent because they, too, have their own challenges and vulnerabilities. That’s why it is every humans’ responsibility to put themselves in a position where they do not become prey to predators. It is a fact that most of a human’s destructive patterns came from their childhood. According to the UN, international studies reveal that 6 in 10 children under 5 years of age regularly suffer physical punishment or/and psychological violence at the hand of parents and caregivers. However, blaming the past will only leave us in a state of victimhood. The good news is that taking personal responsibility is 100% possible, no matter your current situation. True freedom comes from resolving your internal conflict, not external circumstances.
Internal conflict
Internal conflict is occurs in all spheres of social integration_individuals, families, communities, nations and the world. In the case of an individual, internal conflict is a division between their soul and spirit. Out of all the manufactured distractions, it is the most significant, if not the only, threat to a person’s success. Once a person is whole, outside threats will completely lose their power over them because wholeness brings strength and resilience. Additionally, a human’s value resides in their soul, a part of themselves that cannot be taken away nor replicated. No matter how powerful the unseen entities that are ruling the world are, they cannot produce anything remotely comparable to a human’s soul. What they can do, however, is weaken you to the point where you hand over your authority. That is why everything in society - music, movies, food, drugs, media and technology - is designed to weaken a person’s soul. They know they cannot take it from you so they try to weaken it by any means necessary. Unfortunately, their schemes have been working because humankind has been conquered in all areas of life. On a positive note, a healthy soul automatically turns a person into a competent ruler. That’s why the leading secondary mission of Untrammeled is to help in decluttering your soul. Our aim is to cultivate leaders in all industries that are going to transform the world. Children all over the world are suffering, unemployment is the norm in most countries, and about 736 millions of people are living below the international poverty line. These are only a few of the issues that need our attention. Every human being was born with a distinct ability to make an impact on earth in some capacity. It is deplorable to see what humanity have been turned into.
Light in darkness
Luckily, there is a solution to all the madness of the world. In fact, there has been a solution hidden in plain sight for about two millennia. Heaven came on earth about 2000 years ago. Since then, two worlds have been coexisting on the land_the world that you know and a colony of Heaven. The latter is a global nation in which every citizen is called to be a priest and a king. Moreover, Its laws and principles offer stability and the right environment for growth and self-actualization, no matter what is going on in this dark world. This is the treasure I stumbled upon that gave my life a 180-degree turn. You are not hopeless as they want you to believe. In fact, You do not have to participate in any conflict/distraction and you definitely do not have to be subjected to other threats. When a person immigrates to the other world, they become an observer in societal issues rather than a participant because it is above worldly politics, religion and all the other distractions that are designed to weaken mankind and steal their destiny. I know this sounds like a fairy tale but have you ever wondered why fairy tales are universally popular? could it be that there is a part in each one of us that is familiar with it? I’m not asking you to believe anything I say yet. On the contrary, I encourage you to question every information I present and do additional research on your own. All I ask is that you keep an open mind as I introduce the other world to you. Over the next few months, I will cover both worlds. Some topics will feel like a threat to your identity. However, I’m confident there is a part of you that will recognize the truth whether you accept it or not. For those of you who will find a home there, stick around and let the process transform you so you can be a light to the world because it desperately needs the splendour that is hidden inside of you.
